Sebastian River Medical Center is proud to announce its new, state-of-the-art Thoracic Oncology Program. A cancer diagnosis brings along with it a lot of questions and concerns for the patient and their families. Now residents in this area can have their questions answered. The Sebastian River Medical Center's Thoracic Oncology Program will be a pillar of the oncological community, regularly hosting conferences where Board Certified physicians across multiple disciplines can collaborate and problem-solve together. Cancer often needs multi-modality treatments and so bringing together Board Certified physicians in Oncology, Thoracic Surgery, Pulmonary Medicine, Pathology, Radiology, and Primary Care is an important step in the quest for a cure.
