Obesity has become one of America's most serious health problems. Obesity affects more than just aesthetics. Studies have shown that excess weight significantly increases the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, stroke and diabetes. The solution seems simple enough: lose the excess weight and enjoy better health and an improved quality of life. But, as we all know, losing weight can be anything but easy. That's why Sebastian River Medical Center has developed the Comprehensive Weight Management Program. The Sebastian River Medical Center's Comprehensive Weight Management Program is the first program in Indian River County to offer both the Lap Band and the Lap Sleeve procedures.
The health benefits associated with bariatric surgery are exponential and include not only an improvement in self esteem, but a dramatic improvement in overall health- which is s a true benefit.  If you're prepared for both the physical and metal journeys of weight loss surgery, please contact SRMC's Comprehensive Weight Management Program at 772-388-4388. Our team can show you how to achieve healthy, long-term weight loss.
